A local team powering the West
KM Solar is a Galway-based solar PV company serving homes, farms and businesses throughout the West of Ireland.
Born from KM Electrical, our established electrical contracting business, KM Solar combines years of electrical experience with specialist knowledge in solar PV, battery storage and renewable energy.
Today, our in-house team manages the complete process from initial consultation and site survey through to system design, installation, certification and aftercare.
Our story
Built on experience
KM Electrical was established in 2016 with a focus on quality electrical work, reliable service and building long-term relationships with our customers.
As demand for renewable energy grew, so did our involvement in solar PV. KM Solar was established as a dedicated solar division, allowing us to bring the same standards of electrical workmanship and customer service to homes, farms, and businesses across the West of Ireland.
Since then, we have completed hundreds of solar PV installations throughout Connacht.
We remain a local business with our own experienced team and a straightforward approach: provide honest advice, install quality equipment and be there for our customers long after the system is switched on.
